Coaching Qualifications for BC Minor Baseball

Mosquito A, AA, AAA & Pee Wee A & Bantam A & Midget AA

One coach must hold "Regional Coach Trained" status. All other coaches must be "Initiation Trained" status.

The information concerning Coaches Certification can be found under Rule 9 in the BC Minor Baseball Rule Book.

In order for us to field teams in the Pee Wee, Bantam and Midget age groups it is imperative we have qualified coaches. If anyone would like to coach and does not have the necessary qualifications they should make arrangements to acquire the necessary certifications forthwith. We have been notified that "Big League Experience" is offering a certification program on 25/26 February 2012 in Tsawwassen. The whole program can be completed in one weekend rather then in a four day, one month program.

Information can be found on their site under super clinic schedule. The WRSSBA will pay a total of $250.00 per calendar year for coaching courses that either lead to certification or enhance already completed coaching programs.
