We are in need of volunteers for the following positions:

EQUIPMENT MANAGER
MIDGET COORDINATOR.

Our equipment manager resigned because of work commitments and we have not had anyone volunteer for the Midget coordinator position.  It is imperative these positions be filled.  Without a Midget coordinator we will not be able to field teams.  The equipment manager is integral to the smooth operation of our association.

Looks like some awesome baseball weather this weekend, so here’s the plan:

FRIDAY, FEB. 3       Training Facility

Players with last names starting with A-L arrive at 8:00 pm
Players with last names starting with M-Z arrive at 8:30 pm

This session will be a FITNESS TESTING session, so the players are expected to come dressed in shorts, t-shirt and running shoes.  No baseball gear is required.  Depending on actual numbers, each player will take approximately 30 - 45 minutes to complete the stations.

SATURDAY, FEB. 4     SSAP

Time:    1 – 4 pm

This session will be a station oriented testing session of various throws and catches.
Players are expected to wear baseball gear.  

SUNDAY, FEB. 5     SSAP

Time:    11 am – 2 pm

This session will include a batting session and a game.  Players are expected to wear complete baseball gear and bring a minus 3 bat if they have one.  Bats will also be supplied.  Bats other than minus 3 will not be permitted.

Friday, Feb. 3 (Training Facility)

Players whose last names start with the letters A – L report in at 8:00 pm
Players whose last names start with the letters M – Z report in at 8:30 pm.

Saturday, Feb. 4   (SSAP)

1:00 – 4:00 pm  (all players)

Note:  If fields are unplayable due to inclement weather, the time will be moved to
5 – 9 pm inside the Training Facility.  Updates for Saturday’s times will be emailed later this week.

Sunday, Feb. 5   (SSAP)

11:00 am – 2:00 pm  (all players)

The Tritons are extremely excited about their new partnership with the WRSSBA.

I certainly see the potential for both parties to work together to continue to improve the
caliber of baseball in the White Rock and South Surrey areas. With the Tritons assisting with
the Bantam AAA program, the hope is to build familiarity with the caliber of coaching and to
develop our younger players for an easier transition into the Junior PBL

UPDATE: Online Registration for all divisions is still open, but the late fee of $25 is now in effect.

Online registration is now open for the 2012 season and will be available until January 21, 2012. After this date, a late registration fee will apply. Payment is by credit card and a 2% fee will be charged. Alternatively, an in-person registration event will be held on January 14, 2012 at the Training Facility.
