Little League Baseball Canada recently hosted its first Regional Conference in Calgary, Alberta. We would like to extend our sincerest thanks to Staples for their generous contribution to this event. It would not have been as successful as it was without their support.

We have been advised that the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) has provided official notice that the BBCOR decertification process has been implemented for the Reebok Vector-TLS 33-inch model bat. Effectively immediately and until notified otherwise, this bat (Reebok Vector-TLS 33-inch length) should be considered non-compliant and subject to Junior, Senior, and Big League Baseball Rules 1.10 and 6.06(d). It should be noted that the National Federation of State High School Associations has taken similar action.

Calgary, Alberta, March 26, 2012: Delegates from Little League Baseball International and the Toronto Blue Jays, in town for the Little League Baseball Canada Regional Round Table and Conference, received the White Hat treatment at the Calgary Zoo Friday night.

CALGARY, ALBERTA, MARCH 23, 2012: Little League Baseball Canada delegates from across the country are being treated to some Stampede City hospitality this weekend. District Administrators, Umpires, Coaches and regional representatives are on hand for the first Canadian Regional Round Tables and Conference, being held at the Hyatt Regency Hotel, Downtown Calgary, March 23rd and 24th.

As part of its commitment to amateur baseball in Canada, the TORONTO BLUE JAYS have reached an agreement to partner with Little League Baseball Canada, beginning with sponsorship of all four National Championships in 2012.
